Laurent Chardigny Bourgogne Blanc

Located in the south of Burgundy in the heart of the Mâconnais (Mâcon-Azé), Domaine de Rochebin was established in 1921 by the Marillier family. Initially many crops and fruits were planted, but by the early 1970's they realised that the full potential of their land was best expressed through viticulture and winemaking, and this became their sole focus. Today, Mickaël Marillier runs the estate, with winemaker Laurent Chardigny guiding all viticulture and winemaking. Laurent joined the estate in 2008, and immediately began implementing sustainability practices across all areas of the estate and winery. Domaine de Rochebin, and particularly Laurent Chardigny's own label, unquestionably deliver some of the best value wines to be found anywhere in the region. "Clear, light yellow. Floral nose of linden and angelica opening up to dried fruits and stewed peach. Textbook balance and elegance on the palate. Fat, generous weight and accomplished, lingering aromas. A very tempting wine." - Gilbert & Gaillard
