Description

Red currant and red cherry aromas dance on the nose, melding with earthy leather, dried herbs, and spicy tobacco notes that have been seamlessly integrated. On the medium-bodied palate, ripe dark currant flavors give way to bright cedar, dried sage, and tobacco leaf. A dryish finish with semi-rough tannin, bright acidity, and a medium-long finish. Overall a very well constructed wine, and an excellent example of Heathcote Sangiovese.
