This wine is crafted from various small plots in Himmelreich vineyard and grown in blue slate soils. These 100% ungrafted vines are more than 75 years old and have been tended to with utmost care by Ulli Stein, an icon of mineral wines in the Mosel Valley. The wine is consistently crafted as a delicately off-dry style, and the cool 2021 growing season has helped to maintain its crisp and lively character.
