Description

In an old farmhouse named ‘La Berchialla’ which sits amongst Barbaresco’s most famous crus, Olek Bondonio has, in a very short period of time, established himself as a cult producer.

He used to visit the farmhouse which has been in his family for over two centuries each summer, fascinated with the work in the vineyards. It wasn’t until he had shaken the youthful exuberance for snow and skateboarding that he made the leap and moved to the region full-time to pursue winemaking.

Since the winery’s inception in 2005, he has remained committed to working with the least amount of chemical input, both in the vineyard and in the cellar.

The resulting wines are pure, old-fashioned expressions of native varietals.
