The Timotheus blend is a wine that exudes texture and tactile sensations, possessing characteristics that straddle the line between amber and white wines. This blend is produced by combining Grüner Veltliner and Weissburgunder, which are harvested from organic vines that are 40 years old and tended to by the Gut Oggau duo.

The production of this blend involves using a third of the fruit for a three-week period of skin contact, while the rest is pressed directly into old oak. As a result, this wine has a chewy yet refreshing quality, displaying notes of spice and orange citrus alongside green apple and melon.

However, only a small allocation of this wine is made available in Australia each year, making it a highly coveted wine.
