HEGO, a finalist in the Archibald Prize (2022) & National Photographic Portrait Prize, National Portrait Gallery (2018) will be showing a series of “painted illustrations” on canvas, including single-line, text-based & figurative artworks.

HEGO will exhibit a mashup of his illustration-based art practice, “painted” onto canvas, in his latest solo show “HE-GO / NOW!” at the Mayfield Gallery at Cardwell Cellars, Abbotsford, Naarm.

The show will include figurative line drawings, expressive text based artwork, as well as HEGO’s free flowing, single line faces series.

Composer folmR will present music to complement HEGO’s final solo show in Naarm.
