Jane Lopes and Jon Ross will be here to tell us about their new book which they wrote to help people engage with and learn about Australian wine. It’s a beautiful beast of a book at 500 pages, with 30 original maps, 600 producer profiles and bespoke artwork and illustrations.

Included in the price of admission is a glass of wine on arrival, canapés prepared by atelier josun in the Cardwell Cellars kitchen, and a signed copy of “How to Drink Australian”, fresh off the presses. Original artwork and prints of wine region maps from the book will be on the walls in the upstairs Mayfield Gallery.

Collaborating on the text with Jane and Jon were Kavita Faiella and Mike Bennie. Robin Cowcher drew the author illustrations and the maps in the book are by Martin von Wyss, co-owner of Cardwell Cellars.
